The county clerk announced today the admission of two more applicants for citizenship. The lucky new citizens are Camelio Pasrillito and Frank Volcente.

The Olympics will get a jump start when the Owasco Fire Department Fourth of July parade hits the streets tomorrow. Auburnian Mike Farrell, who carried the Olympic flame during its recent visit to the city, will be on hand, torch at the ready, and a float designed by the children in the town's summer recreation program will pay tribute to the Atlanta games.

The school board has a new leader. At its annual organizational meeting Monday night, the board unanimously elected Michele Sedor as its president, filling the seat vacated by Anthony Tesorio, who was voted off the board by district voters on May 15. Tesorio chaired his final board meeting last week. The board's new vice president is Rosemary Oaks-Lee, 53, a piano teacher with two sons.
