This weekend two wheels might be better than four, at least in Moravia.
Bikers will ride into town again this Saturday after a successful debut of the Tri-Lake Motorcycle Ride and Show last year.

Expected to be larger than

the 2005 ride, the organizing

committee has planned more

activities, which will expose Moravia and its businesses to visitors.

The ride this year is an event the whole town has become involved with. Local merchants will be giving away door prizes, and the $5 entry fee benefits the food pantry of Moravia.

At 10 a.m., registration begins for the 1:30 bike show. And then the journey around three Finger Lakes begins throughout Cayuga County. It is expected to last from 2 to 4:30 p.m.

Those who have followed the route before note the beautiful views and effects nature has on someone riding in the open air. That alone will surely bring bikers out.

The evening will kick off as the ride ends and the firehouse will hold a Moravia Idol contest beginning at 5 p.m., offering cash prizes for the top three contestants.

Dinner will also be offered.

Whether a rider, a spectator or just love the community, the Tri-Lake Motorcycle Ride and Show is a day for everyone to enjoy.
