Mower accident brings out the best in people
On Saturday, June 17, my husband, on his riding mower, tipped over on a small incline and went into a ditch in front of our home. Within minutes a young lady, a young man, then another young man, stopped to help him.
A few minutes later, a nurse stopped to offer her help. The neighbor's son came with his pickup and pulled the mower out. Another neighbor and his daughter came to help. Thanks to all, Elmer is fine and a half hour later, he was mowing the lawn, but not on the hill! This happened on State Street Road in Throop.
There are good and not so good in all generations.
