Dave Rabuano is trying to prevent that.
“I've been at the field every single day trying to get them ready and dry,” the Auburn Little League president said. “We just need to get them playable.”
He managed to accomplish that much, finally squeezing some games in over the weekend.
But that left another dilemma. Little League rules stipulate that a pitcher is only eligible for a certain number of innings per week. When games are canceled and rescheduled, a week can be stacked, and teams need to adjust.

Conner Engle and Mike Granato pitched well for ACF, and Joe Wilson and Engle each had a home run.
