The former Auburn Doubleday, who was optioned to the SkyChiefs on May 24, is back in the majors. The shortstop was recalled by the Toronto Blue Jays Monday.

Adams appeared in 17 games for Torontos Triple-A affiliate, all at second base, batting .338 with six RBIs in 68 at-bats. That came after struggling to open the season, batting just .258 with two home runs and 17 RBIs in 120 at-bats.
