Walsh's three-hit game lifts Cubs over Twins

AUBURN - Tommy Walsh had three hits to lead First Niagara Cubs over Gaston Moore Photography Twins 14-13 in an Auburn Boys' and Girls' Baseball League game on Friday.
Nathan Serling, Ryan Bonilla and Emmet Mack each had two hits for the Cubs while Emily Serly played well defensively.

For the Twins, Daryin Cunningham, Alex DeCaro, Tyler Smith, Carlie Vatter and Trentyn Jackson had two hits apiece.

Tarby's Mowing Pirates 20,

The Printery Yankees

Jack Schattinger, Anthony Torres and Trevor Gagliano each had three hits for the Pirates while Brian Chadwick chipped in with two.

The Yankees' Nate Lupo, Mackenzie Wise and Jack Farrington had three hits apiece.

Emily Klock, Kristen Mohan and Hanna Kalabaanka played nice defensive plays for the Pirates.

Jake Morin played well defensively for the Yankees.

AUBURN PONY LEAGUE

Fingerlakes Center for Living 6,

The Citizen 2

Mike Gentile, Luke Boedicker and Nathan Evangelista combined on a two-hitter for Fingerlakes.

Boedicker had two hits and two RBIs to pace the offense while Kieren Major, Evangelista, Allie Nicoloski and Troy Parker chipped in with key hits.

John Brown and John Rizzo each had a hit for The Citizen while Andrew Merrill played well defensively for Fingerlakes.

Dunkin Donuts 12, Auburn Credit Union 5

Erik Baim, Chandler Coleman and Connor TenEyck each had three hits while Patrick LaDouce had a double and three RBIs for Dunkin Donuts.

AUBURN LITTLE LEAGUE

Stanton Automatics 11, Bouleys 6

Anthony Murray hit a two-run inside-the-park home run for Stanton. Murray, Joey DeAngelis (triple), RJ Anderson (triple) and Nate Simmons (triple) all had two hits.

Charles Williams had two hits (double, triple) and five RBIs for Bouleys while Lucas Dranczak and Jonathan Westmiller combined on nine strikeouts.

KIDS SANDLOT BASEBALL

Nucor 14, Byrn's Trophy 8

Tyler Faulkner, Brianna Reynolds, Jimmy Bennink and Stephen Murray each had three hits to lead Nucor.

Logan Roberts and Hunter Roberts each had four hits for Byrn's while Jordan Congdon picked up three hits and Ivey Richards had two.

Throop Fire Department 5, Byrne's Dairy 4

Brady Jenner had two hits plus the winning RBI for Throop while Tim Kocur and Alex Gavras both played well defensively.

Tony Meyers and Trae'von Tortorici each had hits and Christian O'Hora had an RBI.
