Ryan tosses no-hitter

ELBRIDGE - Colleen Ryan continued her pitching dominance, tossing a no-hitter to open Section III Class B-1 play for the Jordan-Elbridge softball team.
Ryan struck out 14 as the Eagles defeated Marcellus 6-0 on Thursday.

In fact, Ryan was one error away from a perfect game.

Ryan also excelled at the plate, going 2-for-3 with an RBI and a stolen base.

Samantha Kuhn also had two hits and drove in three runs.

Rachel Graf (two runs, two stolen bases), Sarah Fordyce (double, stolen base), Jessica Snyder (hit, two RBIs), and Elizabeth Caspari (hit) also had big days at the plate and on the base paths.

The top-seed Eagles (17-0) host the winner of Cazenovia and Holland Patent 11 a.m. on Saturday.
