Auburn boys lacrosse eliminated from playoffs after crushing defeat

CAMILLUS -- After trailing only 4-3 at halftime, the Auburn boys lacrosse team fell to West Genesee, 14-4, in a Section III, Class AA playoff game Friday night.

The Maroons, who lost to the Wildcats 8-3 a week ago, are eliminated from the postseason.

Matt Chadderdon scored twice for Auburn, and Joe Taylor and Jack Redmond each tallied a goal.
