Six Blue Devils earn all-league honors
Four Moravia baseball players were named league all-stars this past week.
Catcher Tim Nervina (.455, 16 RBIs), first baseman Greg Langtry (.508, 17 RBIs), center fielder Jake Wood (.544, four HR) and pitcher Dustin LeFave (5-2) were named to the all-league first team.
Second baseman Matt Vargason and outfielder Joel Mackey were honorable mention all-stars.
Deuce race to run in Union Springs
The Deuce, an annual sanctioned two-mile run to raise funds for the Frontenac Museum and Historical Society will be held Friday, June 16, at Frontenac Park in Union Springs.
The two-mile run for Open Men/Women, Master Men/Women, and High School Boys/Girls will begin at 7 p.m. This race will be followed by an 800-meter run for 13- and 14-year-old boys and girls at7:15 p.m. and a 600-meter race for 10- to 12-year-old boys and girls at 7:30 p.m.
The awards ceremony will take place at the Union Springs Village offices, located adjacent to the park, beginning at 8 p.m.The advance registration fee of $8 adult, $6 children, must be received postmarked by June 9. Late registrations will be accepted until the day of the race at $10 for adults and $8 children.

YMCA offering basketball camp
The Auburn YMCA-WEIU is holding a summer basketball camp for ages 7-15 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. to be held from Aug. 14-18.
Auburn High School varsity coach Al Giannone will be the instructor. Camp fees include 20 hours of instruction and games, a camp T-shirt and lunch on Friday.
Fees are $35 for Y-members and $70 for the general public. Space is limited.For more information, contact the YMCA at 253-5304.
Final Babe Ruth meeting on May 30
The Cayuga County Babe Ruth league will hold its final meeting on Tuesday May 30, before the start of the season.
All coaches must turn in their team roster and team fee at 7 p.m. at Wayne's Computer, Route 5 next to Rolling Wheels Speedway.
Tai-Chi begins May 31 at YMCA
The Auburn YMCA-WEIU is offering Tai-Chi Class from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesdays, beginning May 31.
The class is free to members and $25 per session for the general public. For more information or to register, call the YMCA at 253-5304.
Wrestling camp at AHS in July
There will be a 12-day Auburn/Skaneateles wrestling champ camp on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from July 17 to Aug. 9. All practices are in the Auburn High School wrestling room from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
This is for youths entering in the sixth through 12th grades in the fall. Registration can be done at Spring Wrestling any Monday or Wednesday at the AHS Wrestling Room from 7 to 8:30 p.m. by May 31.

The 13th annual Weedsport Historical Run will be held on June 3, at the Cayuga County Fairgrounds in Weedsport.
The mile run begins at 9:30 a.m. and there is no charge. The 8K cross country run begins at 10 a.m.
