Girls lax camps coming this summer

Auburn girls lacrosse coach Amy Spin will be running two girls lacrosse camps this summer. The Auburn Little Lady Laxers Camp will take place from 9 a.m. to noon July 24-28, at Auburn High School. The camp is open for girls in first through fifth grade.

The Auburn Lady Laxers Camp will be from 9 a.m. to noon July 31, to Aug. 4, at Auburn High School. This camp is open for girls in grades six through eighth.

Both camps are open to girls from beginner to advanced. Opportunities to play will be offered for all campers after the day camps have ended. Each participant will receive a pinnie, water bottle and an Auburn girls lacrosse sticker. The cost is $100.

Registration will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 20, and May 27, at the Auburn High School Student Activity Center.

Wrestling camp deadline May 31

There will be a 12-day Auburn/Skaneateles wrestling champ camp on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from July 17 to Aug. 9.

All practices are from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the Auburn High School wrestling room

This is for youths who will be entering in the sixth through 12th grades in the fall.

Registration can be done from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Spring Wrestling any Monday or Wednesday at the AHS Wrestling Room by May 31.

YMCA to offer Pilates classes

The Auburn YMCA-WEIU is offering both an introduction and intermediate Pilate's classes.

Beginner classes are offered Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 to 6 p.m., and intermediate classes are offered Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Registrations for Y-members begin May 15, and for the general public on May 22.

St. Joseph golf

The eighth annual St. Joseph school benefit golf tournament will be held on June 11, at Dutch Hollow Country Club in Owasco.

Registration begins at noon and the entry fee is $65 per player, which includes the green fee, cart and steak dinner.

The Auburn YMCA-WEIU is offering Yoga Rama from 6:15 to 8:15 a.m. beginning May 30.

Registrations for Y-members begin May 15, and for the general public on May 22.
