PORT BYRON - Meghan Short pitched a complete game one-hitter, guiding Weedsport to a 6-1 win over Port Byron in a softball game Friday.
Beth Cereo picked up the loss for the Panthers, throwing a complete game and allowing five earned runs on eight hits.
Megan Henderson (2-for-3, two runs, three stolen bases) and Jamie Winslow (2-for-3, one run, two RBIs) led the Warriors' offense.
Weedsport (6-4) hosts Tully Monday.

PULASKI - Ashley Thomas pitched both games of the doubleheader, allowing seven earned runs in the first game and six in the second. She had eight strikeouts total on the day.
In the first game, Rachael VanNorstrand scored a run, Nicole Aylesworth had an RBI single and Elizabeth MacDavitt had a hit.
In the second game, Mariah Schmitt had a 2-run double, Thomas had two hits and Amber Grader finished with one hit and one run.
GIRLS LACROSSE
Skaneateles 17, Jordan-Elbridge 10
SKANEATELES - Libby Johnson and Stephanie each scored five goals and had two assists to lead the Lakers past the Eagles.
Jenna Lotkowictz, Shannon Tierney and Kelsey Nangle each scored twice for Skaneateles, Laura Trenti scored one and Margaret Shanley handed out one assist.
The Eagles were led by Kaitlin Fuller (six goals), Teri Noll (two goals, two assists), Kara Humphreys (two assists) and Rianne Farrugia (two goals).
Whitney Johnson and Gigi Vaughn combined on four saves for the Lakers while Alicia Olmstead and Erica Troia combined to stop six shots for the Eagles.

WEEDSPORT - Bryce Leitten pitched all 10 innings for the Warriors and struck out 17 batters.
In the bottom of the 10th, Nicholas Topichak had the game-winning, two-run hit that scored Leitten and Hiral Patidar.
