CATO -- Tim Pierce doubled home Brandon Caswell in the bottom of the seventh to score the winning run.
Caswell also had three hits and three stolen bases, and Austin Townsend had a pair of hits.
The Blue Devils' Brian Wegman went the distance for the win and struck out nine while allowing seven hits and one walk.
For the Panthers, Mitchel David pitched all seven innings and had nine strikeouts and two walks. Tab Carmon and Nick Janusz each had two hits.
The Blue Devils (4-4) host Onondaga Wednesday. Port Byron plays Pulaski at home May 8.

Libby Johnson added two goals and three assists, Stephanie Tierney scored two goals and an assist, Maggie Tierney had a goal and an assist, and Kelsey Nangle netted two goals. Jenna Lotkowictz, Margaret Shanley and Laura Trenti each scored a goal.
Whitney Johnson had two saves, and Gigi Vaughn had three saves for the Lakers.

GROTON - Southern Cayuga's Chris Hilliard set a new school record in the 110 hurdles with a time of 15.1. Hilliard also won the 200-meter dash (23.8), the discus (126-1) and the high jump (5-6).
Caleb Schonfeld won the shot put (35-8), and Sean Driscoll took first in the pole vault (7-6).
Pulaski 111, Cato-Meridian 30
PULASKI - David O'Neill placed first in two individual track events and ran in the first place 4x100 relay team. He took the 100m and 200m (23.7) races and ran with John Murphy, Nathan Blake and Nate Modafferi in the 4x100 (47.6).
Modafferi placed first in the 400m as well (55.4).
Cato-Meridian (2-2) compete in the CBA Invitational on Friday.
GIRLS TRACK AND FIELD
Southern Cayuga 83, Groton 44
GROTON - Megan Lawrence turned in three individual first-place performances, and also ran on the top-finishing 4x100 relay team in the Chiefs' win.
Lawrence took the 100-meter dash (14.0), long jump (12-6.75) and triple jump (29-5.5). She teamed up with Nicole Hoey, Leigh McGonagle and Zella DeForest in the 4x100 relay (58.9).
Beth Rocker took first in the 100 hurdles (20.3) and 400 hurdles (1:23.3), and Miriam Larson-Koester won the shot put (26-2.5) and discus (78-10.5).
Ashley Wade won the 400-meter run (1:11.6), Brittany Wilbur was first in the 800-meter run (2:44.5), and Hoey finished first in the 200-meter dash.
Hoey, Laura Heslop, Rocker and DeForest won the 4x400 relay (4:55.7).
Auburn 81, Oswego 60
OSWEGO - The Maroons relay teams took first place in all relay events as Liz Mahoney, Kara Catino, Elysia Moore and Amanda Kazanivsky took first place in the 4x800 relay (10:36.6). In the 4x400 relay, Moore, Catino, Liz Colandro and Nikki Szczepanski placed first (4:31.3) and Szczepanski, Tiara Tillman, Melissa Glowacki and Maria Thomas were first in the 4x100 (54.7).
Kazanivsky also placed first in the 3,000-meter run (11:52.4), Tillman took the 200-meter dash (28.5) and Moore also finished first in the 1,500-meter run (5:33.2). Catino placed first in the 400-meter run (65.3), and Mahoney was the medalist in the 800-meter run (2:36).
In the field events, Katelyn Felter placed first in the long jump (14-9.5) and the discus (8-0), Laura Simmons took the shot put event (27-9) and Kayleen Wilkinson was first in the triple jump (32-1).
The Maroons (3-2) host West Genesee Wednesday.

PULASKI - Lisa Cole took first place in the 800-meter run (2:31.4), the 1,500-meter run (5:11) and the 3,000-meter run (12:08) for Cato-Meridian in the battle of the Blue Devils.
Renate Mandy placed first in the long jump (12- 9.5).
Cato-Meridian (2-2) competes in the CBA Invitational in Syracuse on Friday.

Freddy Kohlmann swept first singles, 6-0, 6-0, to help lead the Panthers to victory.
Pat McNabb won second singles (6-1, 6-1), and Diego Carletti won third singles (6-0, 6-1).
Neale Taylor and Jack Morehouse were victorious in first doubles (7-5, 6-3), and Sam Debois and Frank Smart won second doubles (6-2, 7-6, (7-4)).
The Panthers (3-1) play Wednesday at Bishop Grimes.

MORAVIA - Southern Cayuga swept the singles matches, as Ben Janssen defeated Tom Swan (6-1, 6-1), Paul Schmitt defeated Samantha Lorah (6-1, 6-0), Luke Powers beat Amber LeFever (6-3, 7-5), and Jesse Littlejohn beat Dan Dienhoffer (6-0, 6-0).
Heather Dwyer and Kalan Morey earned Moravia's only win, in first doubles, by beating Nate Reid and Carissa Wheeler (6-4 (6-7), 7-6 (3-7), 7-2). Southern Cayuga's Brian Littlejohn and Ed Richter beat Ellen Olszewski and Vanessa Lloyd (6-4, 6-4), and Bill Grosvenor and Joe Littlejohn beat Emilee Greene and Kelley Lloyd (6-0, 6-1).
