COOPERSTOWN - Andrew Bojko hit a game-winning single in the bottom of the seventh to give Skaneateles a 5-4 win over Bishop Ludden in a baseball game at Doubleday Field on Sunday.
The Lakers led early 4-0 but the Gaelic Knights battled back to tie the ballgame 4-4. The Skaneateles bats came alive in the seventh though, as the Lakers singled in three consecutive at-bats for the walk-off win.
Mike Perkins earned the win as he pitched a perfect top of the seventh. Sam Sarofeen hurled six innings for the Lakers, allowing three earned runs and four hits while striking out six.
Nick Augustine went 1-for-3 with an RBI and Matt Wild went 1-for-4 with two RBIs to lead Skaneateles.
The Lakers (8-1, 6-0) host Jordan-Elbridge today.
