Big Unit eager for fresh start

OAKLAND, Calif. - Randy Johnson is ready to forget the growing pains of his first season in pinstripes and return to the form that has made him one of baseball's most feared pitchers.
The Big Unit's time in New York began on a bad note last winter when he shouted at a cameraman before his physical with the Yankees. He apologized the next day, then went out and won 17 games. But he never quite got comfortable.

Everybody expects Johnson to have a big season in 2006. He now understands exactly how much pressure there is playing for George Steinbrenner.

“If you're worried about what happened last year, I mean I suppose there's certain things you could take from last year that will help you this year,” Johnson said Sunday. “I think you've got to put everything aside from last year. This is a new year.”
