Cayuga men cruise in lacrosse
TJ Radka led the Cayuga Community College men's lacrosse team with five goals in a 19-2 win over Mohawk Community College on Wednesday. Jason Braman (four goals, four assists), Kevin Nolan (two goals, one assist) and Bill Ashby (two goals, two assists) also played well for the Spartans. Brian Kerwin played well on defense and Eric Hitchcock had 15 saves in 17 shots in goal.
The Spartans (3-1) host Finger Lakes Community College on Saturday.
Nangle scores six in Maroons' victory
Flannery Nangle found the net six times and handed out two assists, leading Auburn to its first win of the season, 15-14 over Waterloo in a girls lacrosse game Wednesday.
Rosie Schiebel added three goals for the Maroons while Andrea Musso scored twice and had two assists.
Leah Downing had a goal and an assists, while Alisha Brooks, Janielle Viggiano and Ashley Viscardi each scored once.
Katelyn Aldrich had an assists while JoLynn Brewer and Brittany Baran combined on nine saves in net.
Auburn (1-1) hosts Oswego Friday.
Doubledays seeking player housing
The Auburn Doubledays are looking for available rooms, apartments and houses for the 2006 season. The players will be arriving in Auburn in the middle of June and will be leaving in mid-September.
Any housing must have short-term, flexible leases as players may have to leave quickly if promoted. The Doubledays will work to fill any vacated spaces with arriving players.
Anyone interested in renting living space to the Doubledays players should call the Doubledays offices at 255-2489.
Dutch Hollow offers golf instructions
The Dutch Hollow Country Club Ladies Golf Academy is offering a six-week program of golf instructions from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday evenings from May 3 to June 7.

Open gym to start at Champions for Life
Champions for Life Sports Center will be offering spring break open gym from 10 a.m. to noon April 10, 13 and 14. The cost is $3 for non-members and $2 for members.
They also have a weekly open gym every Friday night until June 28.
The family session is from 7 to 8:30 p.m. for ages 10 and under (parents are free).
Juniors session is from 8:30 to 10 p.m. for ages 11 and up, including a dodgeball tournament in the indoor arena.

YMCA racquetball league starts April 17
The Auburn YMCA Monday night racquetball league starts on April 17.
Players of all levels are welcome to play in this five-week league but players must commit to play on Monday nights.
If a player cannot play regularly on Monday nights but would like to substitute, a pool of subs will be available. The fee is $15 for YMCA members and $30 for the general public. Registration deadline is April 11.
