Dorm break-in results in charges
Two Auburn men were arrested early Saturday morning following a break-in at Lattimore Hall, 79 Genesee St.
Patrick Antonio Graham, 19, and Sharif Kassimsalisu, 21, both of 230 Genesee St., Apt. 6, were both charged with second-degree burglary. Both also face misdemeanor criminal mischief charges.
According to police, a resident advisor at Lattimore Hall observed the two men bringing beer into the building Friday night. The resident advisor alerted the building manager, who asked everyone in the group to leave. The manager recognized Kassimsalisu as a previous resident who had been barred from the building.
Later, Kassimsalisu and Graham were observed on a surveillance camera re-entering the building. They entered the apartment of the resident supervisor and smashed items in the man's room, police said.
