Chessie is at it again. Only this time, she's a little older, and a lot longer
The 13-month old registered Chesapeake Bay retriever, owned by Charlie Bochenek, of Union Springs, competed at a DockDogs competition in Harrisburg Pa.
Chessie advanced to the finals and leaped 20 feet, 3 inches for a sixth-place finish. Chessie also received her Master ribbon for jumping more than 20 feet during the weekend.
Fire on the Dock, as the team is called, will take to the air again April 8, in Shelbyville, Ky., to compete in the Super Retriever Series in the Super Fly Pro Division.
Chessie first competed nationally last October, when she was just 8 months old.
She finished in sixth place out of 12 competitors in the junior division at the 2005 DockDogs National Championships in Hamburg, Pa.
Chessie also competed at Bass Pro Shops in July.
