State Masters coming
to Utica March 25
You can still enter the 18th Annual New York State Bowling Association Masters Tournament at AMF Pin-O-Rama Lanes in Utica on March 25-26. The entry fee is $125.
Qualifying squads are scheduled for Saturday, March 25, at 12:30 and 3 p.m. The semifinals are set for Sunday, March 26, at 10 a.m. with the stepladder finals to follow at 1 p.m.
First prize is $3,000 (based on 96 entries), a trophy and a paid entry fee in the 2006 USBC Masters Tournament. The high qualifier from the qualifying rounds on Saturday receives $100 and a clock plaque.
Polish Falcons to host no-tap doubles
The Auburn 700 Club Member/Guest No-Tap Doubles Tournament will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 2, at the Polish Falcon Lanes
Guest may be either male or female. The cost is $40 per doubles team ($20 per bowler).
If a bowler knocks down nine pins on the first ball, then it is scored as a “No-Tap” strike. All other scoring is normal. Bowlers can sign up for the tournament by calling the Polish Falcon Lanes at 252-9398.

There is still time to enter the 81st Annual New York State Bowling Association Tournament at AMF Pin-O-Rama Lanes in Utica from April 1 through June 4.
The entry fees are $175 for team, $70 for doubles, $35 for singles, and $10 for all events. The cost to enter everything (team, doubles, singles, and all events) is $115 per bowler.
The tournament is conducted on weekends with squad times Saturdays of 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. and Sundays at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
The handicap is 100 percent of 220.
