Q. What is most rewarding part of being a student? Why?
A. Realizing that some day I will have the chance to do good things with my life. I know it may be challenging to keep grades up and do all the work, but I know it is absolutely worth it.
Q. What is the most challenging aspect of being a student?
A. Time management.
Q. What was your most embarrassing moment in school?
A. I accidentally wandered into the girl's bathroom. Let's just say that I was not alone and the other occupants were not too happy.
Q. What is the part of your day you could do without?
A. My alarm buzzer ringing at 6:45 a.m.
Q. What's the best food item served in your cafeteria?
A. The french toast sticks. Every time it is served, our lunch line is half a mile long. Everybody orders double, and I even saw a triple order once.
Q. If you had to grade your own performance as a student, what letter grade would you give yourself? Why?
A. B. I admit that even though I do a good job and get by, I know I could do a better job with my time management.
Q. What do you do to try to get on a teacher's good side?
A. I like to stay after and talk with teachers, as well as joke around with them and play pranks. I enjoy doing this, just as I know most of my teachers do as well.
Q. What is the funniest question you have ever asked a teacher?
A. I asked when an assignment was due, just after she had finished telling us the date. I can't remember if I was zoning out or just being funny.
Q. School year: Too short, too long or just right?
A. It differs from year to year. This year has been going just right.
Q. If you weren't still attending school, what would you like to be doing?
A. I would like to be working at a center for children, such as the E. John Gavras center. I worked there once in the beginning of this school year and loved it.
Q. Fill in the blank. I have the toughest time in my ____ class. Why?
A. English, because of the longer papers and higher expectations. Due dates seem to creep up faster in the higher level classes.
Q. Fill in the blank. The best teacher I ever had was ______?
A. Mrs. Sandlas because even though she taught me boring 11th grade English, she made it fun.
Q. What are your tentative plans for the future?
A. I plan to attend SUNY Oswego in the fall. I have already been accepted and sent in my deposit. My major will be adolescent mathematics education.
