Moravia rolls again Skaneateles dominates relays
Moravia was the only local team represented at this year's girls indoor track and field state championships at Cornell University. Kerrin Epstein made her second straight appearance at states, placing 22nd in the 1500M, while Amber Murphy took 23rd in the shot put.
Skaneateles didn't send any athletes to states but had strong performances in the Section III Class B/C/D Championships. Megan Carlberg won the high jump and the Lakers took first in the 4x600 and 4x800 relays while the 4x200 relay placed second.
Ingrid Forward led Jordan-Elbridge at sectionals with a second-place finish in the 55M hurdles and also placed in the top five in both the shot put and high jump.
