Results are in from 71st Auburn Tourney
SPD'S Handicap All Stars won the team event title in the 71st Auburn B.A. Tournament at the Polish Falcon Lanes with a 3,388 handicap total.
Members of the team were: Brian Parry (669), Gary Hilliard (561), Dave Dec (627), Herb Dyson (660), and Jamie Cordway (742). Cordway also rolled a 300 game in his series.
Other teams that shot 3,200 or better were: B.E. Wright Pinheads (3,345), Malvaso Insurance (3,327), Pearl Lakes Golf Course (3,274), Starvation Ranch (3,236), Kitchen Express Inc. (3,232), Potter Trucking (3,216), and Pilat Design (3,205).
Pearl Lakes won the scratch title with 3,274. Members of the team were: Greg Hypes (563), Bill Kuszaj (745), Joe Sefca (644), Angelo Tozzi (577) and Bob Kreydatus (745).
Still time to enter Auburn doubles, singles
There are still openings for the doubles and singles events in the Auburn Bowling Association Tournament at Cedar House Lanes on both weekends (March 4-5 and 11-12). Squads are scheduled for 2 p.m. on Saturday and 3 p.m. on Sunday. The only full squad is March 5.
The entry fees are $40 for doubles and $20 for singles. A bowler may bowl only once in the doubles and singles events.
Auburn 700 Club

The Auburn 700 Club Trios Tournament will be held at 4 p.m. on March 19, at Rainbow Lanes in Weedsport. The tournament is limited to the first 18 doubles teams to sign up by calling Rainbow at 834-6028.
The cost is $60 per doubles team and all bowlers must be certified with the USBC for the 2005-06 season and must pay their annual dues of $10 prior to bowling.
State Masters coming
to Utica in March
You can still enter the 18th Annual New York State Bowling Association Masters Tournament at AMF Pin-O-Rama Lanes in Utica on March 25-26. The entry fee is $125.
Qualifying squads are scheduled for Saturday, March 25, at 12:30 and 3 p.m. The semifinals are set for Sunday, March 26, at 10 a.m. with the stepladder finals to follow at 1 p.m.
First prize is $3,000 (based on 96 entries), a trophy and a paid entry fee in the 2006 USBC Masters Tournament. The high qualifier from the qualifying rounds on Saturday receives $100 and a clock plaque.
