Seneca-Cayugas proposal

- 360-room hotel and meeting
center

- 200- to 400-seat entertainment center

- stadium-style movie theater

- 250-square foot retail shopping center

- 18-hole golf course that could be expanded into a 27-hole or 36-hole course

- day spa, fitness center and

all-season pool

Seneca-Cayugas promise

- The resort complex would provide over 2,000 jobs with an average salary of $30,000. A $62 million collective payroll is estimated per year.

- The 18-month construction period for the project would create 1,700 construction jobs paying a $73 million payroll. Additional non-construction jobs would lead to a $97 million payroll for the 18-month period.

- The state would receive $80 million annually in taxes. Localities would receive $15 million annually in taxes.

- Local spending as a result of the complex would result in $100 million in incidental spending in the local economy.

- The city of Auburn's water and sewer system and Route 34 will be able to handle the infrastructure demands of the complex.
