Union Springs U16 girls win over Auburn

MARCELLUS - Kristen Foster had two goals while Michaela Hares had a goal and an assist as Union Springs defeated Auburn 5-4 in an under-16 girls indoor soccer game on Saturday.
Alyssa Dean and Jaimi Jones supplied the other goals for Union Springs while Samantha Shaheen stopped 28 shots in goal.

For Auburn, Nikki Neagle scored twice while Brittney Rabuano and Jen Fox each added a goal.

Auburn's Kim Leubner had six saves.

Under-17

Neagle had three goals and Shannon McCormick had two goals to lead Auburn over LaFayette 5-1.

Lauren Dunster, Emilie Covert and Lindsey Tarby supplied the assists while Leubner had four saves in goal.

Champions for Life

Seven-Eight-Year-Olds

Justin Cooper finished with a hat trick and scored the winning goal to lead Cato to 5-4 win against The Heroes.

Cato's Seth Callahan provided a pair of goals while Raquan Finch and Brandon Miller each scored twice for The Heroes.

Mark Trupiano scored three goals to lead Wachovia Securities to a 9-7 victory over Bouley Associates, Inc.

Charlie Elser scored twice for Wachovia while Jake Charles, Dominic Emmart, Devin Arpino and Joe Netti each scored one goal.

For Bouley, Chandler Coleman netted a hat trick while Alexis Nicolsi had two goal and Ryan Quigley and Trevor Gagliano each scored once.

10-12 Year Olds

Cody Hoyt had six goals to lead Cato to a 9-7 win against Cayuga Lake National Bank.

Cato's Wesley Forshee added two goals while Jarret Shirtoff scored once.

Mark Bachman and Devin O'Grady each had two scores for Cayuga while Brian Badman, Joel Collard and Aaron Bishop each scored one goal.

Elizabeth Henty (four goals), Brandon Ross (three goals) and Jonathan Matthews (two goals) provided a bulk of the scoring for Inn at the Fingerlakes in a 12-2 win against The Heroes.

Matthew Weiman, Kevin St. Pierre and Megan Hutchings each scored once for Inn while Ryan Dell had both goals for The Heroes.

Rashelle Glover had three goals as Zema Appliance defeated Accurate Home Improvement 11-7.

Emmalee Langtry, Lasheena Love and Gerry Zema each scored twice for Zema while Ian Miller and Haley Jordan each added one goal.

Ashely Foote scored four goals to lead Accurate while Joey Mills, Brieanna Fabrize and Chris Marrero each supplied one goal.
