St. Nicholas to hold fund-raising dinner
St. Nicholas Church will hold a fund-raising dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 12. People can eat in or take out. Adult tickets are $10, 12 and under are $6. Dinner is a fund-raiser for the new parish hall, being built next to the church.
It will be open for anyone who wants to see how it is progressing.

Cato Union Church is hosting a “Celebration of Marriage” Valentine Day dinner for married couples to be served in the church dining room Friday, Feb. 10. The cost is $10 per couple, and reservations may be made with Heidi Dusharm.

The ALPHA program is being offered to the public by First United Methodist Church, 99 South St., Auburn, at 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5, and continues every Sunday evening through May. Everyone is welcome to any or all of the 15 Sunday evenings. There will be a light (free) meal followed by informal, easy to understand, small group talks about the many facets of Christianity.

Tyburn Academy presents its second annual Music of the Heart, a cabaret dinner with love songs and other Valentine's Day entertainment at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, at the Springside Inn, A family dinner will be served for $30 per person.
A dozen local performers will warm your hearts with music of love and some surprises as well. There will be door prizes and raffles and a Valentine's Day quiz! All proceeds will benefit Tyburn. Make reservations in advance by call Tyburn at 252-2937. There will be limited seating to the first 225 people only.
