Colton lifts Spartans

AUBURN - Alyson Colton led Cayuga Community College with 14 points and eight rebounds in a 62-49 victory against Tompkins-Cortland Community College in a women's basketball game Saturday.
The Spartans' Terri Thomas added 11 points and seven assists, while Kate Pinckney finished with nine points, all on 3-pointers.

Cayuga (7-7, 1-1) travels to Corning Community College Wednesday.
