Killer Bees move into first place

SKANEATELES - Second-place Killer Bees knocked off first-place Cedar House 10-3 in a classic bowling match in the Coca-Cola/Pearl Lakes Golf Course Classic League. Despite the loss Cedar House wins the first half of the season.
Killer Bees were led by Tom Knapp (706), Bill Kuszaj (677) and Eric Sidor (617) while Cedar House was led by Michelle Feldman (637) and Jeff Shutter (620). Sharon Shoemaker is the third member of Cedar House.

Friendly Trash Service finished third after defeating CJ's Pub (fourth place), 9-4. Joe Sefca (681) and Gary Feldman Jr. (635) led Friendly while Tim Poorman rolled a 634 for CJ's.

Pearl Lakes finished fifth and beat BYLLYE Lanes (sixth), 9-4. Angelo Tozzi rolled a week high 740 for Pearl Lakes while Greg Hypes had a 630. For BYLLYE, Bob Clark Jr. had a 666 and Bill Stanley finished with a 640.

Seventh-place Morris World Famous Grill defeated eighth-place Home Away From Home, 9-4. Morris was led by Bob Riley (700) and Brandon Slayton (666) while Home Away was paced by Ernie Hyde III (674) and Bazil Abram Jr. (610).

Miller Lite/Friendly Trash Service Classic Singles

Tom Knapp moved into first place after shutting out Barry Gatts (19th place), 3-0 and John Ashby fell into second place after losing 2-1 to Bill Stanley (18th).

Michelle Feldman is third after defeating Ernie Hyde IV (22nd), 2-1.

Bill Kuszaj beat Jeff Shutter (sixth), 2-1 and Gary Feldman Jr. lost to Angelo Tozzi (10th), 2-1. Shutter and Feldman are tied for fourth place.

Bob Clarke Jr. is seventh after shutting out Sharon Shoemaker (12th), 3-0.

In other matches, Joe Sefca (eighth) defeated Bazil Abram Jr. (15th), Tim Poorman beat Ernie Hyde III (17th), Eric Sidor (13th) edged Michelle Crowley (21st), Greg Hypes (16th) defeated Bob Kreydatus (ninth) and Jeff Chalupnicki (20th) downed Todd Wilcox (14th).
