WEEDSPORT — Jessica James had seven assists, three kills and an ace for Weedsport in a 3-0 victory against Bishop Grimes in a volleyball game on Tuesday. The Warriors won 25-11, 25-19 and 25-14.

Weedsport was also led by Ryan Lamphere (five kills, five aces, one block), Ashley McNabb (five assists, one kill, one ace) and Melissa Crowley (four aces).

The Warriors (2-4) play today at Onondaga.

SWIMMING

Watkins Glen 94, Southern Cayuga 57

WATKINS GLEN — Casey Burns finished first in the 200 freestyle (2:05.08) and the 100 backstroke (1:05.00) for the Chiefs in a Tuesday meet.

The Chiefs’ Cody Burns took first place in the 100 breaststroke (1:17.11).

Southern Cayuga (1-2) swims at Dryden Thursday.

Weedsport 101, Cicero-North Syracuse 79

SYRACUSE — Justin Friesen finished first in the 200 IM (2:24.81) and the 100 freestyle (0:52.23) for the Warriors.

In the 200 medley relay, Luke Baker, Corey Hinman, Justin Friesen and Josh Hughes finished first with a time of 1:55.34.

Katie Scarbrough finished first in diving with 162 points while Ali Saladin was first in the 100 butterfly (1:09.46).

Corey Hinman was first in the 100 breaststroke (1:14.04) and Keriann Earl finished first in the 100 backstroke (1:09.45).

Jordan-Elbridge, 13th place

SYRACUSE — Ingrid Forward (30-7 3/4) and Eloise Rogers (26-3 1/4) combined to finish third in the shot put relay with a score of 57-3 1/4.

In the 4x800 relay, Katie White, Nicole Darling, Nicole Stroud and Libby Forward finished fifth (10:49.56).

Libby Forward, Kaite Darling, Jackie Sheridan and White finished eighth (4:56.69) in the sprint medley relay while Kaite Darling, Sheridan, Ingrid Forward and Emily DiRisio finished 14th (2:06.11) in the 4x200 relay.
