Merry Christmas to all!
Good old Saint Nick must have received a lot of letters from the sports fans in the Cayuga County area.
Because for the 59th consecutive year his Christmas list to The Citizen sports department has increased to a record high.
We have tried to use as many of the requests as possible. But like Santa's sleigh, we can only fit in so many.

AUBURN - In the 11 days between Charles Schulz's retirement from drawing the Peanuts cartoon strip and Christmas day in 1999, Rosina Wilczek had sketched out seven members of the gang, painted them with her husband's help and placed the wood cutouts on her lawn at the Auburn city corner of North Marvine Avenue and Franklin Street.
