GPS class to be taught at Bass Pro Shops
Dick Hyde, Bass Pro Shop's electronic expert, will teach two Introduction To Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) classes on Saturday, Dec. 10.
One class will be at 11 a.m. and the second will start at 2 p.m. The classes are free and no pre-registration is required.
The classes will be held in the seminar area over the mall food court with the entrance next to the pizza shop.

Ice fishing weekend starts tomorrow
Bass Pro Shops Sportsman's Center in the Fingerlakes Mall will host its annual Ice Fishing Weekend, Dec. 10 and 11.
There will be ice fishing equipment sales, an inside ice fishing derby for kids and adults. Fishing time slots will change every 15 minutes and anglers should pre-register the day of the event. Bass Pro will supply fishing tackle for contestants. There will also be seminars by some of the area's best ice anglers.
The cost is free and both day's events run from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. For more information, call 258-2700.
Jerky-making seminar to be held next week
Bass Pro Shop is offering a jerky-making seminar on Saturday, Dec. 17.
The seminar will start at 1 p.m. and take place in front of Bash Pro's fish tank. Participants will learn how to make their own jerky from venison, beef, pork, turnkey and waterfowl.
Cost is free and no-pre-registration is necessary. For more information, call 258-2700.
