Holiday series brings acts to mall
The Holiday Entertainment Series at the Fingerlakes Mall will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, with a performance by the Auburn High School Orchestra. Other performances are the Freedom Village Voice Ensemble at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15; Natalie Pearl at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17; the Auburn Civic Band at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 19; the Herman Avenue School Chorus at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20; the Port Byron Middle School Choir at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21; the Skaneateles Middle School Jazz Band & Select Chorus at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 22; and Judah's Flock Dance Team at noon Friday, Dec. 23.

Auditions for ‘Jake's Women' to be held
The Auburn Players Community Theater, Inc., is holding open auditions for “Jake's Women,” a play by Neil Simon. Auditions will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12, and Tuesday, Dec. 13, at Willard Chapel Community Room, 17 Nelson St.
There are seven female roles and one male role available. The play centers on Jake, a novelist who faces a marital crisis by daydreaming about the women in his life.
The comic and moving flashbacks played in his mind are interrupted by visitations from actual females.
Religious service held for lonely
A worship service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, for people who feel alone during the celebratory time of the holiday season. The service at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 17 William St., Auburn, is open to all regardless of religious affiliation.
Westminster pastor Phil Windsor will lead the service. Karen Bartlett-Morse and the church's choir will provide music.

Savannah Bank names new officer
Gregory Lattimore has been appointed to the position of business development officer for Savannah Bank. Lattimore, a graduate of Cayuga Community College, will serve Cayuga, Seneca and Wayne counties.
He has previous banking experience in Cayuga and Ontario counties.
