AUBURN - Debbie L. Whitten Woodard, 44, of Ross Street, Auburn, died unexpectedly Sunday, Nov. 20, 2005, at Auburn Memorial Hospital, while fighting a long illness.
Debbie was born in Auburn, on Dec. 21, 1960. She graduated from Auburn High School and was employed with McQuay International for 24 years.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Michael Woodard; her children, Richard C. Palmer III and Brian S. Woodard; her mother, Patricia Valenti Moore; her sister, Tina (Jason) Mabbett; her brother, David Moore; and her grandmother, Jane Conaty Whitten.
Debbie was very family-oriented and is survived by several cherished aunts and uncles, several nieces and nephews, special friends in her life: Shelly (Kilmer) Juhl, Karen Boyhan and Patricia Heffron; children who shared special memories with Debbie: Brooke Moore, Jenny Ferlenda, Brandon, Brook and Benjamin Whitman, and baby Brynn Whitman, who brought her much joy and happiness.
Debbie was predeceased by her aunt, Maurita Whitten Biek, and her uncle, Clinton Bergerstock.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 1 p.m. Saturday, at the Fleming Federated Church on Route 34. There will be no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Debbie Woodard may be sent to the American Cancer Society, Memorial Processing Center, PO Box 7, East Syracuse, NY 13057-0007.
Debbie was loved very much by her husband, Mike. She will never be forgotten and will always be in his heart. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.
