AUBURN - Ida Mary (Vistocco) Wincowski, 90, formerly of Rochester Street, Auburn, died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005, at Auburn Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Wincowski was born in Auburn on Aug. 7, 1915, the daughter of Frank and Carmella Gioia Vistocco. A lifelong resident of Auburn, She had been employed with the Columbian Rope Co. for more than 25 years, retiring in the mid '60s. She was a communicant of St. Hyacinth Church, a lifetime member of the Polish Falcons, and a past member of the Italian Heritage Club.
She is survived by her loving family, who were always at her side during her illness: a daughter, Christine Beaulieu (Kenneth) of Marietta; granddaughter, Crystal Gonyou (Scott) of Auburn; a grandson, Joseph Beaulieu of Seattle, Wash.; three great-grandchildren, Ryan Farr, Ashley Enslow and Scott Gonyou Jr.
Mrs. Wincowski is also survived by four sisters, Mary Netti, Frances Patience and Elivira Tulette, all of Auburn, and Lena Viscome of Fulton; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Ida was predeceased by her husband, Stanley Wincowski in 1982; her brothers, Luigi and Ernest Vistocco; and two sisters, Rose and Angela Vistocco.
A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 10 a.m. Friday, in St. Hyacinth Church. Entombment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fleming. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, at the White Chapel Funeral Home, 197 South St.
