SKANEATELES FALLS - James Holden, 78, of Skaneateles Falls, died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2005.
Born in Wingates, West Houton, England, he was a World War II veteran of the United Kingdom. He had retired from Cros-Ible in Moravia and was an avid British historian.
He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy in 2002; and a daughter, Mary Tanner in 1988.
Surviving are three daughters, Joyce Holden of Denver, Colo., Karen Holden of Skaneateles Falls, and Julia (Tony) Vitale of Auburn; a sister, Alice Holden of England; 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, at the Robert D. Gray Funeral Home, Skaneateles. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery. Calling hours are 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home, 49 Jordan St.
