TULLY - The Auburn High girls cross country team finished fourth out of 34 teams at the OHSL Championship meet at Tully High School on Saturday with 199 points.
The Maroons were led by Elysia Townsend, who finished 22nd (20:06) out of 236 runners. Rosie Schiebel took 27th (20:16), Amanda Kazanivsky was 42nd (20:44), Kara Catino placed 45th (20:47) and Liz Mahoney was 63rd (21:07).
Skaneateles
The Lakers finished in fifth place with 232 points as Rachel Vaivoda placed 32nd overall (20:26).
Hannah Waite was right behind Vaivoda in 33rd (20:31), Christina Homeyer took 49th (20:51), Alexis Mazzeo was 58th (20:59) and Stephanie Searing finished 60th (21:01).
Jordan-Elbridge
The Eagles took 12th place (368) as Cate White finished 26th overall (20:15), Nicole Darling was 39th (20:37), Nicole Stroud placed 90th (21:47), Libby Forward was 106th (22:06) and Kim Armani took 107th (22:11).
Weedsport
The Warriors placed 14th (410) as Chelsea Gibson finished 19th overall (20:02).
Sarah Wignall was 47th (20:28), Kaitlin Hammersly placed 75th (21:19), Ashley Edmunds took 118th (22:25) and Keriann Earl was 151st (23:20).
Gibson, Wignall and Hammersly earned first-team all-league honors in their conference. Edmunds, Earl, Katie Scarbough (161st place; 23:33) and Jessica Spencer (167th; 23:53) earned second-team all-league honors.
Cato-Meridian
The Blue Devils finished 25th (583) as Lisa Cole placed 35th (20:35), Margaret McCurdy was 111th (22:17), Margaret Harrigan was right behind at 112th (22:20), Liz Cook was 157th (23:29) and Cheryl Allen took 168th (23:56).
Port Byron
The Panthers were 32nd (993) as Katherine Wyckoff was 182nd (24:35), Felicia Darrow took 194th (25:14), Amanda Vitale finished 196th (25:21), Molly Drancsak placed 210th (26:57) and Leslie Anne Pritchard was 211th (27:08).
All of these teams will be competing on Nov. 5 at the Section III meet in South Jefferson.
IAC Championship
Moravia
MARATHON - Moravia finished in third place out of 12 teams.
Kerrin Epstein finished second overall in 19:57, which ties her for the best finish by a Blue Devil female runner at the IAC Championships. The last time that happened was 1979. Epstein also earned first-team IAC all-star with the finish.
Claire Hunsinger finished 10th (21:50) and earned second-team IAC all-star. Samantha Lorah took 15th place (22:44), Alicia McGlaughlin was 34th (25:20), Amber Grysiee placed 48th (27:24), Helen Hunsinger was 50th (27:50) and Megan Benson finished 53rd (30:54).
Moravia travels to Chenango Valley State Park on Thursday for the Section IV Championship.
Southern Springs
The Wolves finished fifth with 128 points as Katharine Miller finished ninth (21:38) and earned second-team IAC all-star.
Brittany Wilbur placed 27th (24:23), Molly O'Hara was 45th (26:46), Rachel Humennyj finished 47th (27:06) and Alicia Slywka placed 52nd (30:10).

TULLY - The Maroons took eighth place out of 39 teams (260). Out of 274 runners, Chris Mason finished an impressive eighth (16:09), Scott Garrett placed 16th (16:34), Tom Sproull was 66th (17:59), Sean Wilson took 76th (18:13) and Kes Peck was 94th (18:26).
Jordan-Elbridge
The Eagles placed 11th (422) as Jim Dexter finished 64th (17:59), Jeff Donahue was right behind in 65th (17:59), Ryan Darling was 73rd (18:05), Chris Weingarth took 98th (18:28) and Jake Schutt placed 122nd (18:45).
Weedsport
The Warriors were 20th (562) as Jim Bos placed 85th overall (18:22), Ryan Enos was 102nd (18:33), Sean Daly finished 105th (18:34), Michael Greer took 119th (18:42) and Corey Hinman placed 151st (19:00).
All five runners earned first-team all-league honors. John Bos (171st place; 19:13) and Zackary Field (206th place; 19:54) earned second-team all-league honors.

The Lakers earned 26th (659) as Sam Smolenski placed 77th (18:14), Carson Sio was 81st (18:16), Jeff Cregg finished 133rd (18:48), Patrick Homeyer was 179th (18:28) and Jim Peloza took 189th (19:37).
Cato-Meridian
The Blue Devils finished in 34th (915) as Paul Navarro took 142nd (18:54), Matt Tucker was 151st (19:05), Adam Vogel placed 193rd (19:41), Brian Wegman finished 210th (19:56) and Tim Pierce was 212th (19:57).
The Section III meet is Saturday at South Jefferson.

Southern Springs
Southern Springs finished ninth of 11 teams (209) as Sam Fessenden was 31st (19:52), Evan Bassett was 34th (20:05), Roger Olschewske finished 44th (20:48), Evan McGonagle placed 52nd (21:14) and Matt Cuff took 59th (21:55).
Moravia
The Blue Devils finished incomplete with just three finishers, still, Jason Phillips earned first-team IAC all-star with a sixth-place finish (17:56). Larry Bentley placed 19th (19:07) and Pat Nevius was 57th (21:29).
Moravia and Southern Springs travel to Chenango Valley State Park Thursday for the Section IV, Class D Championship.
