Julia T. Kalet

OWASCO - Mrs. Julia T. Kalet, 88, formerly of Town Hall Road, town of Owasco, passed away Friday, Oct. 28, 2005, at Mercy Health & Rehabilitation Center.
A lifelong resident of the area, she was a member of Sacred Heart Church and the Sacred Heart Altar and Rosary Society. She was an avid gardener and homemaker. She and her late husband, Stanley, owned and operated a dairy farm on Town Hall Road for many years.

Surviving are their children, Edward (Martha) Kalet and Dorothy Kalet, both of Union Springs, Jean Kalet (David Shaw) of Scipio Center and Jane Kalet of Port Crane; two grandsons, Steven Kalet and Andrew (Meghan) Kalet; a great-granddaughter, Kailey Kalet; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Stanley, in 1986, a brother, Frank, and sister, Mary.

A prayer service will be 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 31 in Farrell's Funeral Service Inc., with a Mass of Christian burial following at 9:30 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church with the Rev. Michael Brown, as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. today at Farrell's Funeral Service Inc., 84 South St., Auburn.

Memorial contributions may be made to either Sacred Heart Church, 90 Melrose Road, Auburn, NY 13021 or the CNY Alzhemier's Association, 330 E. Genesee St., Auburn, NY.
