Auburn Jr. Midgets win

CHITTENANGO - David Jacobs and Andrew Chadderdon each rushed for two touchdowns as the Auburn Indians Junior Midgets beat Chittenango 32-13 in a Pop Warner game on Sunday.
Tim Locastro also rushed for 116 yards and a score.

Auburn's Nick Granato passed for 15 yards and threw a touchdown pass to Jacobs.

Neil Halpin and Brian Roe combined for 25 tackles while Tim Smith had a 10-yard interception return.

Rocco DeFranco, Nate Kayn and Rich Thurston were praised for their line play.

PEE WEE

De'Ondray Tape had 75 yards rushing and Cody Cottrell had 61 yards on the ground as the Auburn Indians lost to the Fayetteville Hornets 26-0.

Patrick Farrell passed for 50 yards and Brett Sanderson had 30 yards receiving.

Kevin Chalker had eight tackles while Todd Warner and Thomas Lupo each had seven tackles.

Dustin Culver, Justin Grennell, Joshua Sorenson, Fergy McClurg and Kevin Brown played well on the line.

JUNIOR PEE WEE

Vince Giannettino threw for 41 yards and a score in a 13-6 loss to Fayetteville Manlius on Saturday.

Casey Reed had 45 yards on the ground while Kevin Scott rushed for 10 yards and R.J. Anderson rushed for 11 yards. Jon Kudla had 31 yards receiving while Dan DeFranco (five tackles), Giannettino (eight tackles) and Reed (seven tackles) played well on defense.

Lance Myers and Luke Wilczek played well on the line.

MITEY MITE

Steven Bennett ran for 70 yards, Joe Dyson rushed for 35, Austin Widger had 20 yards on the ground for the Auburn Indians in a game against the Eastwood Bears.

Ahron Secor had four tackles and a sack, John Exner had five tackles, two sacks and a fumble recovery and Josh Frost had three tackles and a sack. Paul Clark was praised for his line play.

Matt Faiola had 115 yards on the ground and had a 45-yard touchdown run for Auburn No. 1 in a game against Fayetteville-Manlius.

Jack Burgmaster (85 yards), Jeff Thurston (55 yards), Kevin Talbot (50 yards) and Dom Richardson (50 yards) all had good rushing games.

Auburn's defensive leaders were Noah Hutchings (eight tackles, four sacks, fumble recovery), Bobby Reynolds (seven tackles, two sacks, fumble recovery), Justin Warner (seven tackles, two sacks) and Andre Telfair (six tackles, one sack).

Nick Vitale, Stephen Giannotta, Austin Napolitano, Mike Vaccaro, Mike Chirco, Brian Cunningham and Hunter Bowden played well on the offensive line.

FLAG FOOTBALL

Hunter Duger, Steven Gilfus and Mitchell Fanning each had 35-yard runs for Auburn No. 1 in a game against Cicero. John Wilkes and Isaac Colella played well at quarterback while Andy Bragg, Cannon Springer and Logan Bass led the defense.

Jordan Fronzak, Spencer Elser, Michael Jakaub and Lavonte McLeaod were praised for their line play.

Alex Burgmaster rushed for 90 yards, Tristan Custer rushed for 60 yards and Nevan Rourke had 50 yards on the ground for Auburn No. 2 in a game against Clay.

Billy Alberry had two completions at quarterback to receiver Griffen Olin.

Marc Pietropaoli and Christian Daley played solid defense.

Justin Murphy, Jacob Reilly, Carmen Liberatore, Luke Parker, Jacob Maltese, Jeremy St. Martin and Michael Pidlypchak played strong on the line.
