STERLING - Rita Reilly, of Route 104A, Sterling, passed away of natural causes Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2005, in her home.

Rite was born Oct. 2, 1946, in the Bronx. She moved to Oradell, N.J., as a young child, where she attended school. She relocated to Sterling where she resided with her husband, Robert J. Reilly, who predeceased her in 1992. She had been employed for years by Scholastic Inc., and in Oswego by Loretto Heights Nursing Home, Oswego Growers and Shippers, Oswego Industries and Incredameal.

Rita's magnetic personality, quick wit and empathetic compassion endeared her to a vast cadre of close friends who became family to her.

A memorial service will be held to celebrate her life 1 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 2, at the Hannibal American Legion, Rochester Street, Hannibal.
