Skaneateles native Tom Scherrer was a model of consistency in Friday's second round of the Nationwide Tour's Albertons Boise Open in Boise, Idaho.
Scherrer nailed 16 pars and added a birdie on the sixth hole and a bogey on 11 for an even round, keeping him at 2-under par for the tournament in a tie for 57th place.
He is eight strokes back of leader Greg Chalmers. He ranks second in the tournament with 28 pars in two days.
