Manslaughter defendant indicted on charges over July stabbing

Manslaughter defendant Joshua Nervina was indicted by a Cayuga County grand jury earlier this month on charges related to Anthony Agee's stabbing death during a cell phone dispute July 23.
Nervina, 18, of 23 Pulaski St., Auburn, was indicted with two felony charges of first-degree manslaughter and first-degree assault. The indictment accused Nervina of intentionally stabbing Agee in the chest with a knife around 11:15 p.m. at 19 Venice St.

Also indicted:

- Inthanousane Borihane, 26, a federal prisoner originally from Johnson City, on the felony charge of first-degree attempted escape. The indictment accuses Borihane of trying to escape at 6:50 a.m. July 4 from the Cayuga County Jail by climbing a fence in the jail's recreation yard to get on the Public Safety Building's roof.

Borihane has been held at the jail pending sentencing for a federal bank robbery conviction.

- Dexter Bullock, also known as Kevin Dexter, 27, of Syracuse, on two felony charges of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, two felony charges of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a charge of second-degree impersonation and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Bullock is accused of selling crack cocaine at 2:18 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. April 24 within city limits. He also is accused of pretending to be his brother Kevin Dexter and driving without a license.

- Kevin Ferrin, 54, with the last known address of C-64 Brogan Manor, Auburn, on the felony charges of second-degree burglary and fourth-degree conspiracy. Ferrin's indictment accuses him of having peered into a Rt. 38A Niles home's window in late September or early October 2004 with intent to steal property. Ferrin also is accused of conspiring with two others to burglarize the residence.

- Bradley Green, 47, of 2504 West Main St., Cato, on six charges of third-degree criminal possession of marijuana, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, second-degree menacing, fourth-degree stalking, growing of cannabis and fourth-degree criminal mischief.

Green's indictment accuses him of growing more than 13 ounces of marijuana. His is accused of threatening to make a female disappear while brandishing a .22-caliber Ivers-Johnson semi-automatic handgun at 10:45 p.m. March 19 in his residence in Cato. His is accused of stalking the woman between November 24 and March 19. He is also accused of smashing a new Brother sewing machine owned by the woman.

- Richard McGrail, 55, 266 Tuckerhill Road, Locke, was indicted on two felony charges of first-degree criminal sex act and first-degree sexual abuse and charges of endangering the welfare of a child and making a punishable false written statement.

The indictment accuses McGrail of licking the private parts of an 8-year-old July 2 in Locke. He also is accused of making a false written statement July 8 in Moravia Village Court.
