Auburn wins if: They don't turn the ball over and avoid excessive penalties. The Maroons had four turnovers and 15 penalties for 120 yards in their loss at C-NS.

Players to watch: Linebacker Landry Mack had a big game for J-E last week, leading the defense with nine tackles against Marcellus.
Keys to the game: Slowing down down South Jeff's run-and-shoot offense, which consists of a lot of short passes, plenty of guys in motion, and a quarterback option.
Jordan-Elbridge wins if: Mack and the defense slow down South Jeff sophomore quarterback Jay Craft. Craft threw for 163 yards last week and is the key to the offense.
Sherbune-Earlville (0-1) at Skaneateles (0-1)
Kickoff: Friday at 7 p.m.
Players to watch: Senior quarterback Dan Murphy completed 9-of-18 passes for 121 yards and a touchdown against Cazenovia.
Keys to the game: The Lakers' ground game must take pressure off Murphy. Skaneateles managed only 60 yards rushing last week.
Skaneateles wins if: Its defense comes out of the gates strong. The Lakers got down quickly against Cazenovia, allowing 17 points in the first quarter.
Moravia (1-0) at
Watkins Glen (0-1)
Kickoff: Saturday, 7 p.m.
Players to watch: Moravia has several options on the ground in Zach Hargett and Tim Nervina. Greg Langtry is shaping up to be a solid threat at quarterback.
Keys to the game: Defense. Against Tioga, Moravia gave up yardage but stayed ahead after forcing five Tiger turnovers.
Moravia wins if: They score early and often. Watkins Glen is rebuilding this year, and won't be able to play catch-up to a talented Moravia squad.
Spencer-Van Etten (0-1) at
Southern Springs (1-0)
Kickoff: Saturday, 1:30 p.m.
Players to watch: Cheol Kessler. The Southern Springs back had a nice game to start the season - 180 yards rushing, a six-yard pass, a touchdown and a two-point conversion.
Keys to the game: Southern Springs has a solid backfield with a quartet of weapons, Kessler, Bryan McClary, Tyler Jordan and quarterback Drew Brantner. If the rushers put up numbers, Southern Springs should win.
Southern Springs wins if: The defense turns in another solid performance. Southern Springs forced five Harpursville turnovers in its season-opener.
Cato-Meridian (0-1) at
Bishop Grimes (0-1)
Kickoff: Saturday, 1 p.m.
Players to watch: Cato-Meridian's Kyle Goldthwait passed for 101 yards and two touchdowns last week. Bishop Grimes' Mike Shinto caught two.
Keys to the game: Both teams scored the majority of their points in their season openers on passes. The Blue Devils will need to watch out for Shinto, who had touchdown catches of eight and 55 yards against Hannibal.
Cato-Meridian wins if: It steps up the ground game. After posting modest numbers against Tully last week, the Cato-Meridian rushers must be able to find daylight.
Port Byron (0-1) at Hannibal (1-0)
Kickoff: Saturday at 1 p.m.
Players to watch: Panthers' wide receiver Zachary Ryer had four receptions for 90 yards with a touchdown last week against Weedsport. Ryer also came up big on the defensive end, recording six tackles.
Keys to the game: Panthers sophomore quarterback Brian Locastro has to get comfortable behind center. His varsity debut last week was a rocky one - throwing for 127 yards but with four interceptions.
Port Byron wins if: Its defensive line can slow down the ground game. The Panthers struggled with its run defense against Weedsport and now will be up against Hannibal's 2004 all-league running back, Charles Smith.
