An Auburn man was arrested by the Auburn Police Department for allegedly stealing five guns from a private owner and selling the guns to other people.

Brian Soscia, 36, of 4 VanPatten St., was charged with felony counts of fourth-degree larceny.

Soscia allegedly stole the rifles and shotguns in June, but the guns' owner did not discover they were missing until Aug. 15, when a report was made to the APD.

The guns have not been recovered, police said.
