A Montezuma man was arrested Friday by the Auburn state police on an Auburn Police Department drug-charge warrant.
Richard M. Ellinwood, 37, of 8705 Dwyer Road, was driving southbound on Fuller Road at 2:45 p.m. when he was stopped by a police trooper.
A crack pipe was found in Ellinwood's pocket, and two more stems were found in his car, state police said.
All three stems appeared to have crack residue, state police said.
Ellinwood is accused of selling crack cocaine within Auburn earlier this year. From that APD investigation, he faces two felony charges of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Ellinwood also faces a misdemeanor charge of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance from the state police related to the crack stems.
