AUBURN - Mrs. Roberta "Cookie" Styles Cook, 89, of 96 E. Genesee St., Auburn, passed away Saturday, Sept. 3, 2005, at home.
Mrs. Cook was a native and lifelong Auburnian, a 30-year employee of GTE Sylvannia, Seneca Falls, a member of St. Mary's Church and a member of the St. Mary's Rosary and Scapular Society. Her husband, Charles Cook, predeceased her in June 1996.
Surviving are her sisters-in-law, Betty Vitetta, Auburn, Jane Gabek and Bill, Auburn, and Mary Cook, Port Byron; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-grandnieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, in St. Mary's Church, with the Rev. Bernard Munjalu Wakhungu, parochial vicar of St. Mary's, as celebrant.
Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to the funeral Mass at Farrell's Funeral Service Inc., 84 South St., Auburn.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Church, 15 Clark St., Auburn.
