MORAVIA - Josephine Breese, 90, of Millstream Court, Moravia, died Saturday, Aug. 6, 2005, at home.
Mrs. Breese was born Nov. 2, 1914, in Meno County, Okla., the daughter of Peter J. and Dina Smith Eck. She was a former resident of Elmira and had lived in Moravia for several years.
She was the widow of Lester F. Breese, who died in 1982.
Her children and grandchildren were the love of her life, and she devoted herself to them. She had made each child handmade dolls. She faithfully attended First Baptist Church of Moravia.
Surviving are her three sons, Thomas (Sandra) Breese of King George, Va., Peter (Myra) Breese of Moravia and Richard (Rose) Breese of Spokane, Wash.; two daughters, Joann (Joseph) Orr of Duck Key, Fla., and Evelyn (Glen) Germain of St. Augustine, Fla.; several great-grandchildren and grandchildren; and one sister, Jackie Newell, of Burdett.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, in the First Baptist Church of Moravia. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Elmira. Calling hours will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, at the Wade Funeral Home, 22 Church St., Moravia.
Memorial contributions can be made to the First Baptist Church of Moravia, Building Fund.
