A suspect has been arrested in connection with a reported sexual assault in the Fillmore Glen State Park.

According to court documents, Andrew Couch, 24, was charged Thursday with felony third-degree rape.

State Park Police received a call early Thursday morning at which time they were dispatched to the park one mile south of the Village of Moravia.

According to state park officials, the investigation is still ongoing and no further information was released.

No one from the Moravia Police Department, the New York State Police Department or the Cayuga County Sheriff's Department were called in to assist with the investigation, and could not provide any further information about the incident Thursday night.
