Ice Hawks hosting golf tournament
The Auburn Ice Hawks will be hosting a nine-hole captain and crew golf tournament at 2 p.m. on Aug. 28 at Auburn Golf and Country Club. Cost is $40 per person, $140 per team and includes golf, cart and food.

Turning Stone to bring in the pros

The Bobby Hoey Cayuga County Junior Golf Championship will be held Aug. 8 to 10 at Owasco Country Club, Dutch Hollow Country Club and Auburn Golf and Country Club - 18 holes will be played each day.

Cost is $40 per entrant and is open to all Cayuga Country residents ages 12 to 18. Applications available at Cayuga County Golf Course Pro Shops or by e-mailing jasonlesch@adelphia.net. Donations of time and prizes welcomed.

Baldwin Memorial Tourney August 28

The first Dave Baldwin Memorial Charity Golf Tournament will take place August 28 at Midlakes Club, Road No. 3 Bockes Road, Skaneateles.

Net proceeds will benefit the American Heart Association.

Shotgun-start begins at 8:30 a.m. for the captain and crew two-man team format.

Entry fee is $150 per team and includes low gross and low net prizes, shotgun start and many other prizes including a finishing fitting feast.

Hole sponsorship opportunities are available for the Golf Tournament.

Education tourney set for Aug. 1

The Auburn Education Foundation will be hosting its second annual Golf Classic at noon, on Monday, Aug. 1 at Highland Park Golf Course.

The format will be a captain and crew. The entry fee is $100 per person.

Sponsorship opportunities are available. Proceeds will benefit innovative programs to enhance education in the Auburn Enlarged City School District.
