AUBURN - Mrs. Paula M. Lent, 104, formerly of Schwartz Towers, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2005, at the Cayuga County Nursing Home.
Paula was born in Galeton, Pa. and has resided in Auburn for many years. She was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna Miller Lucas. She was a long-time member of Holy Family Church.
Surviving are her sons, Lee J. (Leslie) Lent of Franklin Lakes, N.J. and James H. (Sandra) Lent of Auburn; her daughter, Eileen L. Fake of Gorham; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister, Margaret Iglody of Florida; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband, Leo L. Lent; her son, Daniel Lent; and son-in-law, Richard Fake.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. today, July 26, at St. Mary's Church, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's. The Rev. Frank Lioi, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Joseph's School, Genesee Street, Auburn, or to Tyburn Academy, 50 Wallace Ave., Auburn, NY 13021.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the DeVaney-Bennett Funeral Home in Geneva.
