Get in the mood for the NASCAR race at Watkins Glen Aug. 14 by going to NASCAR Days at Bass Pro Shops in the Fingerlakes Mall.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6 and Sunday, Aug. 7.
During that time, several contests will be held, including NASCAR video games and casting a fishing line into the bed of a Toyota Tundra pick-up.
There will also be turtle races every 90 minutes from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., both days where children can bring their own turtles and decorate them in NASCAR designs.
Children who don't have turtles can try their hand at remote control car races running every 90 minutes from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., both days.
