Bradley Foster strangled his wife, Wendy, with his hands. Foster then killed himself by ingesting an undetermined amount of prescription and over-the-counter medications and then placing a plastic bag over his head and duct-taping it shut.

March 31, 2005 - Auburn

Bradley C. Laning allegedly stabbed his 17-year-old girlfriend, Andrea Kell, of Weedsport, with a kitchen knife on the nature trail at Cayuga Community College. Laning, 17, turned himself into police 90 minutes after police were informed of a body found on the trail. Police said he admitted to killing Kell. But during arraignment, he pleaded not guilty. Defense motions in Laning's case are due Friday, July 29. Motions in the case are scheduled to be argued Aug. 11.

Dec. 21, 2004 - Auburn

Auburn's John W. Beer, 39, is found dead in his Walnut Street home, shot multiple times. Police have not made an arrest in the case.
