PORT BYRON - Bernard S. (Bernie) Parzych, 76, of Blauvelt Drive, Port Byron, died unexpectedly Tuesday, July 19, 2005, at his home.
Mr. Parzych was born in Braddock, Mass., the son of Stanley and Stella Parzych. He lived in Saratoga Springs and Albany before moving to Port Byron in 1981.
He worked in sales during his career selling mostly railroad supplies.
He is survived by his children, Stanley (Linda) Parzych of Corning, Stephen (Melanie) Parzych of Port Byron, and Susan (Steven) Lillie of Liverpool; a brother, Theodore Parzych; and a sister, Veronica Trenske; six grandchildren, Heather Parzych, Robin Parzych, Michael Parzych, Andrew Parzych, Jennifer Lillie and Steven Lillie.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 23, at the Audioun Funeral Home, 218 Main St., Port Byron. Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. in Holy Cross Polish National Cemetery, Armstrong Road, Lakeland, NY.
